ALAMAT
Who is ALAMAT?
We've coined them the "Phoenixes of P-Pop" thanks to their endless ability to rebound from challenges, but ALAMAT is best known for their multilingual members who hail from all different parts of the Philippines. The six members are originally from six different provinces and can speak and sing in seven different Philippine languages. They debuted in 2021 with nine members, but lost Kin, their Tagalog representative from Metro Manila shortly after and then Gami (a Bisaya-speaker from Cebu) and Valfer (an Illongo-speaker from Negros Occidental) in the early months of 2022. Despite this, they've managed to rebound and continue to build a reputation as the a unique P-Pop group that never hesitates to honor their rich and diverse heritages.
